Today we have been experimenting with light.
Here we are making simple circuits with batteries, wires and light bulbs.

We used a torch and a cup of milky water to make a sunset.
The light is shining through particles, when the light hits the particles the light bounces off and scatters.

Orange and red colours scatter the least, this is why we see these colours in a sunrise or sunset.

Today we made our Rocket blast off!
We filled the inside of our rocket with vinegar and baking soda.
This caused a reaction and created a gas that made our rocket blast off really high!

Literacy Time in Room 10

Making the basic words I am learning
to read with magnetic letters.

I have painted a picture and I am
arranging a cut up sentence so it makes sense.

We are writing stories all
by ourselves.

We are making words we are
learning to read and write with pipecleaners.
